My Qualifications
I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I graduated with two degrees from the University of South Africa, both majoring in Criminology. I also hold the 120 hours Tefl certificate. I have been tutoring for many years. The reason I chose tutoring English specifically was because I wanted to dedicate my time to helping others learn it since it's a universal language. I also like to engage and foster relations with people from all walks of life. Teaching english has allowed me to have a new perspective on the world and I cannot wait to explore more of this beautiful world of ours.
About me
I am a 29 year old lady from South Africa. I love reading and I occasionally write in my spare time. In varsity, I used to volunteer at the nearest center to teach young students how to read and write, which is how I got started in teaching. Over the years I have tutored a lot of students. I mainly focus on communication, for those who want to learn how to communicate in the language. I always deliver tailored lessons to fit the individual needs of my students. I always ensure that my students feel safe, heard and encouraged during lessons.
