I received my bachelor's degree in English and Technical Writing at the University of Central Florida and my master's degree in English and American Literature from the University of Kent in Paris, France.
Since 2000 I have played, coached, and analyzed football. Currently I am a Football Data Analyst for Pro Football Focus (PFF). I began as a coach of flag football where I taught 8-10 year olds, then became a high school football coach where I coached every position and team, and eventually began scouting and analyzing film of opponents. I have 7+ years of teaching experience. I have taught in North America, Asia, and Europe. I have taught every age level and for the past 3 years I have been teaching Chinese students online. I believe learning should be exciting, interesting, and thought-provoking. My greatest desire when teaching is to encourage students to ask any and all questions to further the development of the concept, but more importantly, to further the development of the student. In order to obtain this, I strive for my classroom environment to be approachable, relaxed, and reassuring.
I am passionate about teaching the nuances revolving around English and football.
Football is constantly evolving and as the game grows new ways of consuming football have blossomed. Aspects; such as, fantasy football, advanced analytics, and film breakdown have seen different worlds collide and introduced people from different fields. These interesting pairings have created unlikely friendships and an entirely new way to view football. My hope is to breakdown the sport from its most complicated concepts to some of its more simple techniques and create a friendly, welcoming environment that makes the game approachable and fun.

I have traveled to over 25 different countries and love learning different languages and cultures. I also enjoy writing. In my spare time I wrote a fantasy novella "Amerimyth: Big" and am currently pursuing a position as a Fantasy Football News Columnist.
