I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I have a degree in Software Engineering and Business Administration and I also have a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I have tutored students face to face for 5 years and I have taught English online for 3 years.

Hi, my name is Tersia. I am a native English speaker from South Africa and I am excited to meet you. I have a degree in Software Engineering and a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I love traveling, eating new food, experiencing new cultures and being active and enjoying the outdoors. I have been a teacher for a few years and I have taught students all around the world. My students are between the ages of 4 and 60 years old. (both children and adults) Having conversations with my students is what I enjoy the most. My students call me patient, friendly and funny. I want to help them speak English clearly and with confidence. I am also able to help them with specific English skills like grammar, reading, comprehension and conversation. If they struggle to speak English or they aren’t sure what to talk about, I will help them and guide our lessons so that it is fun and exciting for them. Speaking English with confidence will help them in their life in so many ways, like talking to new friends and talking to people around the world. I know we are going to have a great time in class and I hope to see you really soon.
