Sarah

I am currently a pre-masters student at ONCAMPUS Sunderland University. In the near future, I plan to start a master's degree in graphic design and to be able to achieve and flourish in one of my passions, which is creation and design. I graduated from EPAU (National School of Architecture and urbanism in Algeria) where I obtained my state diploma in architecture. In addition to my degree, I obtained a master's degree in parallel with my studies. I also carried out many practical steps in architectural design offices, which gives me knowledge of the working environment.

My name is Sarah-Amel Boukerma, a young woman of Algerian origin who was born on 24-10-1999. Being from Algeria, I am bilingual Arabic-French in addition to English which I am still learning and continuing to improve. I’m a girl who likes to make and create illustrations and who dreams and imagines a lot. After earning my baccalaureate, I decided to continue my education in architecture at Algeria’s National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning. My five years there were full of feelings, information, and learning. I developed my ability to take constructive criticism of my work in stride, interact with others, and give my all while remaining assured of the quality of my work. I had always wanted to travel the world and be able to complete my higher studies outside of Algeria. My preference was for England and the University of Sunderland in particular. I have decided to concentrate on graphic design for my master’s degree in order to prepare for this new experience, which I am completing all by myself. I was influenced by architecture, and as a result of my course, I developed a fascination with 2D and 3D design tools. This inspired me to grow and prosper in this field that I adore. In order for me to be able to live out this waking dream, my parents had to push me and I will always be grateful to them for that. I want to be able to give them the greatest version of myself and make them proud.
