I went to school in Norwich, UK. I left high school in 2016 with 12 GCSEs, with top grades in Mathematics, English and French. I then finished sixth form in 2018 with A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths and French. After this, I moved to London to study Mathematics at Queen Mary University. I graduated in 2021 with a first-class degree. In September 2021, I started a Masters in Philosophy at King's College London. In 2022, I decided to take a break from studies, in order to work.

Hello! My name is Oliver, I am a 23-year-old Philosophy student from London. I'm offering tuition for all ages in Mathematics, French and English up to degree level, including more general written skills such as essay writing and proof-reading. Though I am currently studying Philosophy, I have an extensive background in Mathematics, having pursued it at GCSE and A-Level, before graduating in 2021 with a first-class degree. After my maths degree, I decided to pursue Philosophy, a subject I'd always had passion for. I began to study it at Masters level at Kings College. In terms of teaching style, I generally like to use the first session to get up to speed with the student; what their strengths are, what they find challenging and how they learn best. I will then prepare my own study material for our subsequent sessions, e.g., worksheets, example questions, background information, that we can work through during the sessions. I am, however, open to work with other tuition ideas and styles that the student would like to pursue. For example, you might want to only focus on one really difficult essay question, in which case I would be more than happy to focus solely on that. Having grown up in the UK, I am familiar with the range of different exam boards. International Baccalaureate is also fine. Thank you very much. I hope to hear from you soon.
