Hello, my name is Matilde, but everyone calls me Tilly! I'm a professional actress, director and presenter with over 6 years' training in theatre and acting. I studied in the UK and I'm also an English teacher, giving private lessons at A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels (I still have vacancies available). // In acting, my main strengths are the use and study of Stanislavski's method, which is widely applied in modern acting. In addition, I can help you better understand the practice of performance, improvisation, presentation and public speaking. Throughout my life I've learnt various methods on how to memorize text quickly, how to understand the physical and emotional processes of a character and how to give a true and real performance. I have a very different approach to acting, which has worked even with people who have never acted! // I can teach: Acting. Movement. Theatre/performing arts practices. Stanislavski and Grotowski methods. Acting exercises for all ages. Presentation/public speaking. Improvisation. Storytelling and Playground Theatre (an acting game created by practitioner and teacher Ramiro Silveira). // I also have training in non-Western theatre practices, such as Balinese theatre, Bharatanatyam, Noh theatre, mask and religious practices, as well as clowning and Commedia dell'arte. At the same time, I received detailed training in the interpretation of works by Shakespeare and Greek playwrights.
