I have an educational background in healthcare and holisitic therapies like massage, yoga, meditation, and movement. These skills help me work 1-on-1 with students and learners. I am a language learner and teacher currently practicing Spanish. I have a Level 5 Qualifi Diploma for TEFL/ESL and additional certs for business english and private tutoring.
About me
As a teacher, I focus on being attentive, thoughtful, well prepared, and sufficiently challenging my students to improve. I belief all language areas are important, however skills like speaking, reading, and listening can help improve the other language areas like grammar and writing. I like to focus on teaching functional language skills and useful tools for communicating and understanding English in relevant contexts.
