About me
Hi! I am Jurie and I reside in Cape Town, South Africa. I have had the privilege of working at a university in teaching subject-specific community service. Later on I headed into the High School system teaching Music, Singing, Piano, Saxophone, and Keyboard, as well as Drama and English. I believe in exposing students into real life scenarios when teaching a language - as communication, in essence, is a lot like improvisation. You must be able to think on your feet and respond quickly. Therefor understanding is more important than learning phrases and sentences.
