My Qualifications
While at school, I achieved 9 A* grades at GCSE, and then an A in A Level English Literature, A* in A Level Music, A* in A Level History, and A* in A Level Drama. I also attended Junior Trinity Conservatoire of Music and Dance on Saturdays, where I received Grade 8 in voice and on clarinet with Distinction. I graduated with a First Class BA (hons) in English Language and Literature from King's College London in 2017, before I moved to Prague in the Czech Republic to start teaching English as a Foreign Language and studying classical singing and opera at the Conservatoire there. I have been teaching English both as a foreign language and for academic purposes, such as A Level, for the past six years, and have just completed an MMus in Voice from Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
About me
Hello everyone! My name is Juliet and I'm an English teacher and classical singer. I started working as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher when I moved to Prague in the Czech Republic, where I also studied classical singing at the conservatoire there. I taught mainly business English to adult classes, but have since branched out, and now teach a combination of adults and children, and coach people for GCSE's, A Level's, language exams like the IELTS, and general English to anyone who wants to learn. My teaching style is very friendly and conversation based, as I like to plan and design my classes around your personal interests. I'm really looking forward to meeting you!
