My Qualifications

I am the bass player and backing vocalist of the aspiring band Electron and of the solo project Jason Payne & The Black Leather Riders. Also, I have an additional experience of 10+ years in singing, which comes with a BA (Hons) Professional Musicianship - Vocals Degree, as well as a MA Popular Music Practice Masters' Degree. Additionally, I have been playing bass professionally for 3 years.

Hello! My name is Joana Teixeira, I’m a 24 year old musician based in London.

I teach vocals and music theory from beginner to intermediate and high levels. My singing is specialised in popular music (such as pop and rock), but I have a good understanding of all genres. I also have a good understanding of the bass guitar as well, in which the specialisation is mainly in rock/metal music.
