I am an enthusiastic teacher of 15 years - previously I have had other careers in the Employment service and retail management. I have tutored GCSE English Language and Literature for over 6 years. I am also an experience examiner for GCSE English Language and Literature for over 6 years. My teaching methods are designed to build confidence with specific exam based strategies but also personalised, bespoke lessons for the individual

Jenny was an amazing tutor to our son in year 10 and 11. As a child diagnosed with mild to moderate learning difficulties he was struggling at GCSE level and had lost confidence in himself.
Through Jenny’s tutoring our son learnt some great strategies and skills, many of which were transferable to other subjects, meaning he improved in these too.
Jenny was patient, made the lesson interesting, and rebuilt our son’s confidence in himself.
He obtained strong passes in both English language and literature thanks to Jenny’s excellent tutoring skills.
