I have been teaching and tutoring for over 12 years, both in my own classroom, and in small group or 1-1 settings. I understand that every learner is different, having unique, individual needs. This mean I will personalize our sessions to your needs and your learning style! Whether you want to improve in math or English, your way of learning will dictate our sessions. Are you more visual? Jacob was a fantastic tutor for my son. It was clear that he knows how to make a connection with his students and make them feel comfortable. He found the approach to teaching my son and took his time explain different math strategies to help him. He helped him prepare properly for his tests and the results are in his marks. Jacob was my tutor for mathematics to help me prepare for my analytical GMAT exam. Jacob is one of those teachers who can truly make challenging situations fun and he gives you the encouragement and frameworks needed to help his students succeed. His expertise in both mathematics and english make him an excellent communicator, and he is able to adapt his teaching styles to make concepts clear for each individual. When we were going through the units, he was very good at knowing when I needed extra support and when to encourage me to solve problems independently. I would highly recommend Jacob as a teacher and tutor and I am confident that he can help anyone achieve their educational goals!

Jacob was a great math tutor for me! He explained complex class concepts in a way that was very easy for me to understand. With his help He helped me receive a great score on my SAT test that helped me get into college! I would highly recommend Jacob!

Jacob versteht den SAT vollständig und hat mir geholfen, die Punktzahl zu erreichen, die ich mir erhofft hatte. Außerdem lächelt er immer und ist entspannt, was die Atmosphäre großartig macht und die Zeit schnell vergeht. 10/10!

Jacob helped me prepare for my math exams and I really enjoyed his lessons. I didn’t even feel stupid, like I normally do cause I’m not a ‘math person’, because he is very supportive and nice. I recommend him strongly.
