I've been a classroom/online English Language Teacher for 8 years. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I worked as a Child Protection Officer. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sport Education and also hold a Master’s Degree in Child Protection Social Work. I enjoy planning, organising and thinking outside the box to keep learners engaged and to achieve objectives. Teaching is humanistic and I have a great ability to use empathy to show interest in individual learners, build trust, dissolve barriers and be patient. Humour is essential and so is the ability to generate enthusiasm for all students irrespective of their needs or cultural background. What makes me passionate about teaching is that as a teacher, I can progress with the students. I view English teaching as a bidirectional process, in which not only the students, but also the teacher learns. Being fully aware that individual students have different learning styles, I always try to tailor my instructions and teaching materials to provide more personalized teaching.
