My Qualifications

I have been teaching English for 25 years in Spain, ranging from children to adults of all levels. I’ve taught all Cambridge exams including KET, PET, B2 and C1. I have also had my own English academy. I have been working for the last 2 years teaching Cambridge exams at a high school.

About me

I love teaching English, I’m very passionate about what I do and I feel a big responsibility as someone who’s supposed to be not only a skilled teacher, but also a good role model for their pupils. I try to have an individual approach to each student, with a goal of achieving the best possible progress with everyone.

Task based learning- setting relevant and exciting tasks that the student will enjoy, this also encourages the student to communicate, and then we discuss the language used.

With beginner students I tend to focus on pronunciation and vocabulary.

Also, I think it’s very important to learn grammar so the student becomes friendly with all the grammar rules to translate various sentences easily. This method builds strong language writing skills.
