Hello, prospective students! My name is Annie, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share a little about myself and my teaching approach with you.
I have spent the last year gaining experience as an educator, specializing in teaching language. Teaching is far more than just a profession for me; I find joy in helping students develop a profound understanding of English and literature and witnessing their growth and accomplishments.
My teaching methods are focused on creating a comfortable and patient learning environment. I believe in fostering a collaborative atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and participating actively in their own learning. I strive to tailor my teaching style to the needs of each individual student, recognizing the inherent diversity in learners.
Throughout this last year, I have had the privilege of teaching Gymnasium students, from grade 7 to 12. This experience has equipped me with a strong understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities that arise at different stages of learning. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
In terms of my specialization, I have a deep knowledge of French and philosophy and a strong foundation in the translation of French feminist texts. I try to stay updated with the latest developments in the subject and will gladly share this with my students. My goal is to make the subject relevant and relatable to students' lives, sparking their curiosity and inspiring a lifelong love for learning.
In addition to my teaching expertise, I am also passionate about knitting, environmentalism, and classic literature. These interests can find their way into my teaching, allowing me to connect with students on a personal level and hopefully make the learning experience more memorable.
