About me
I am a passionate, experienced secondary English teacher who has a rich teaching experience in private schools across South Africa for just on 35 years. I relocated to the United Kingdom at the end of 2021 and am excited to share my passion and skill with students in the UK. As an educator I long to unlock a love for lifelong learning, insight into language and literature and its creative impact on all aspects of education and daily life. I thrive on seeing students grasp concepts with fresh insight and learn to confidently articulate these ideas in both written and spoken language. The essence of education, in my opinion, is to raise young people who can reason insightfully and be the critical thinkers of the future. As a teacher - I see myself as a crafter who impacts thinking and shapes positive member/s of society.
