I am an experienced and qualified teacher who teaches Maths and English for 4-16 year olds. 11+ and GCSE (Maths) included. Personalised teaching approach that makes learning come alive online! Born in Northern Ireland, I had decided that teaching was the career for me by the age of six. After studying a year of Mathematics at King’s College, London (KCL), I read History at University College, London (UCL), achieving a 2:1 BA Hons. I completed my PgCE in 2012 at the Institute of Education (IOE), with the inner-workings of London schools providing a valuable and eye-opening experience. I have spent the past 11 years teaching in a range of mainstream and special education schools. This includes experience of a wide selection of pupils with differing abilities, such as those on the autistic spectrum, with ADHD, and with dyslexia. Living in Belfast, London, and Barcelona has exposed me to diverse religious and cultural backgrounds, while providing me with fluency in Spanish. This global perspective and adaptability are assets when teaching children with English as an Additional Language (EAL), or any child who needs a customised learning approach. All of this experience has equipped me with the confidence and ability to differentiate instruction and cater to a wide range of abilities. I am a professional, reliable teacher with a desire to instill a love of learning in all children, as well as to help them succeed in the current school system.

As a determined and dedicated professional, I consistently go beyond the call of duty to ensure that my pupils receive the education they deserve. I bring a unique blend of creativity and motivation to my teaching, understanding the importance of making learning enjoyable and striving to create a positive and stimulating atmosphere that encourages your child to explore, discover, and excel. I will always work at a pace that suits them and personalise each lesson according to their interests and needs. My goal is to ignite a love for learning and nurture your child's academic growth in a supportive environment that keeps them engaged. This way they are much more likely to retain their learning and become a confident learner who is unafraid to ask questions, learn from their mistakes and show their love of learning. I am confident that I can make a positive impact on the academic and personal development of your child and give them the skills required to improve school performance, including in SATs, Entrance Exams and Maths GCSE.
