Hi there! My name is Amy and I’m an undergraduate studying history at the university of Edinburgh.
About me
I tutor English, history, biology and maths. I have a first class honours at university and five A* at A level (AQA - biology, English lit, biology, history, media studies, EPQ). I have experience with IGCSE courses too with preference to biology, English and history. I feel that I am a reliable and passionate tutor who can help with explaining key concepts and ideas. I also feel I would be good and exam technique as this was something I used to struggle with. For example, memory dump and active recall techniques using mind maps and bullet points to target key concepts. I also am familiar with the PEAL paragraph technique for essay writing. I am offering online lessons and am very flexible with fitting around students schedules.
